The Amadeus Institute was invited by the Australian government to participate in the "Special Visit Program"
The Amadeus Institute was the 1st African organisation invited by the Australian government to participate in the "Special Visit Program.” This program organizes annual meetings between Australian officials, policy makers, opinion leaders and civil society representatives from countries with whom the Australian Government wishes to foster bilateral relations.
On this occasion, the members of the Amadeus Institute met many Australian government officials, parliamentarians and academics and had the chance to promote the development prospects of Moroccan-Australian relations. Representatives of the Institute gave presentations on recent developments pertaining to the national question, and the process of reforms in Morocco.
This meeting also enabled members of the Amadeus Institute to hold discussions with several think tanks and research centres in Australia, which may lead to the establishment of partnerships. This will help the Institute expand its expertise on various issues facing the Asia-Pacific region.
